Xiaomi MI Play with Waterdrop Notch features & Specification Unveiled

Xiaomi is a Chinese leading smartphone maker launching its MI Play Series Smartphone in India on February  07, 2019. This will be the first smartphone with waterdrop notch display. The device features a circular camera notch like that we’ve seen on Samsung and Honor smartphones. Xiaomi has already released MI Play in China and expected to be priced in India for RS: 11,999.

The smartphone is thin and light compact design, along with a total weight of just 150g, makes Mi Play ideal for one-hand use, yet additionally has a pebbly curve to bring an agreeable cobblestone hold. It is expected to be available in three colors, dreamy blue, down gold, two trend gradient colors.

Mi Play features a 19:9, 5.84-inch waterdrop full screen, FHD+ (1080 x 2280 pixels) display and it is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. As indicated by MI the size of the body is just equal to 5.10″ smartphone. So it is not only thin and light but you get bigger view with a small body. 

AI smart dual-camera which brings clear image quality, with flagship 1.25μm large pixels for better images. It sports a 12MP+2MP dual front camera with F/2.2 aperture. The smartphone also has a phase detection autofocus with digital zoom and auto flash. The 8MP front selfie camera is supported by AI functions such as AI Beautify and AI portrait mode.

MI Play is powered by eight-core high-performance MediaTek P35 SoC processor, which is built on 12nm process technology and driven by eight Arm Cortex A53 cores, with a maximum clock speed of 2.3GHz. It comes with a 4GB RAM and 64GB ROM which can be expandable via a SD card up to 256GB. Mi Play runs on latest stable MIUI 10, which is based on Android 8.1 Oreo.

The smartphone comes with a 3000 mAh USB Type-C battert with GPU dual Turbo for better graphics processing performance.
